Gaming Site Gets Massive Increase in Interactions with Klix

Computer gamers are often tech-savvy web users and getting them to engage and interact with marketing material can be difficult.

However they do love to voice an opinion about the games they play. And making this fun an interactive as possible was the goal of our client site cheats.co.

#What Was Changed

Before Klix, cheats.co had a rating section that appeared at the top of the game page, that allowed visitors to rate a game by simply clicking on a 1-10 score button.

Original rating buttons

On the 24th of October 2024 they replaced these buttons with a dynamic Klix poll, in exactly the same location on the page.

#The Results

Very quickly the uptick in users interacting with the game rating poll became obvious.

That's over 5 times the number of people expressing an opinion on a game using a Klix poll vs using rating buttons.

#Adding a CTA

More recently, on November 7th after seeing this uptrend in interactions, the website owners decided to remove their existing Convertbox (full page popup) offer. This was replaced with a simple call-to-action text offer on the Klix poll which appears after a user had rated a game.

The results speak for themselves. Nearly double the number of click-throughs and no annoying popups on the site anymore!
